Brighton Dome Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre
An exciting project for the refurbishment of the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre. Set in historic Regency gardens and adjoining the famous Royal Pavilion, Brighton’s Grade 1 listed Corn Exchange and Grade 2 listed Studio Theatre are being refurbished for a 21st century audience. The project will upgrade the Corn Exchange and provide major improvements to the Studio Theatre, including a brand new foyer space and café. Essential conservation work will also be undertaken to restore hidden spaces and reveal them to public view.
The estate – originally created by George IV – comprises the historic Royal Palace and gardens, a museum, art gallery and three performing arts spaces. By improving facilities and equipping the estate for a sustainable future, it will be able to reaffirm its position as a key cultural destination for many more years to come.
Working with FCB Studios we have completed the design phase and installation of Raico curtain wall roof lights, electrical opening vents and toggle glazing so far. The next installation stage of work begins in Q2 of 2019.
