Theis & Khan developed their own offices in Shoreditch, creating a mixed-use building comprising of 3 floors of commercial space with a residential unit above. Ridlands were appointed by Theis & Khan to achieve the exacting details that they required for the project knowing that we could achieve and work to their meticulous standards.

Throughout the building we designed and installed aluminium casement doors with windows fabricated from Schuco AWS/ADS65 range of profiles which were located and detailed to be flush with the front brickwork facade. The residential unit has large sliding doors which feature on two levels with structural glazed solar control IG units on the Bateman’s Row elevation, the windows are detailed with glass to glass joints. Roof lights are glazed and open.

The building has been awarded an RIBA London Award 2010.
RIBA London Building of the Year Award 2010.
Shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize 2010.
